Haws Christmas Party

The Haws Family got together for the second (i believe it is second) annual Haws Family Christmas Party. There were a lot of people that showed up. I took my camera to be able to document the event but I only came away with these and a couple others of myself and Reid. I was too busy holding Alicia's baby, Caleb. Anyway, I thought I would share these super cute pictures of Reid and Dad playing. Reid was laughing so hard, it was incredibly funny.

Mom and Dad visit Greg

Hey All,

Mom and Dad recently went to good ol' Washington and spent a few days with Greg on his property. They took some great pictures so I thought I would post them so we could all see how he's doing.

Here is a picture of Mom and Greg:

Here are some pictures of their fishing adventures:

What a WHOPPER Dad!

Here's Mom painting. I bet there was a lot to paint out there in the beautiful country!

Here are a few of Greg's animals on his little self sufficient farm:

This is Brutis the Rooster: "Y Tu Brute!"

The Mamma Hen and some babies:

Greg with his "singing dog." I can't remember the dog's name though.

This is Cloe. Isn't she pretty?
This is Greg's Hot Tub. It is heated by fire. Mom said it is pretty awesome.

Mom calls this Greg's Palace on the Prarie: He is building the walls to his house aroung Mom and Dad's old trailer. I think he is eventually going to pull the trailer out so he can finish the inside of the house.
Here are some pictures of the view from Greg's house:

Dad's Birthday

Monday was Dad's Birthday! And how young are you now?
Those of us who were able to celebrate his day with him gathered at Mom & Dad's house for cake & ice cream. Too bad for Dad, someone who will remain nameless, did not make him a German Chocolate cake minus the coconut like his mom used to. (oops!) Poor Dad had to pick through his cake to get to the cake! He thought it had way too much coconut. Me on the other hand quite enjoyed all that they had put into it!
So Happy Birthday Dad, and thanks for being an awesome role model we can all look up to. Besides the coconut, we hope you had a great day!

A Birthday Party For Reid-June 7th

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to put this out just in case I didn't get the invitations in the mail in time. I am having a little birthday party for Reid at our house in Spanish Fork. We are going to do it the Saturday before his actual birthday, so that will be on the 7th of June. I would like to do it around lunch time, so 12:00 until 3:00 or until everyone wants to go home. You can hang out all day if you want to. Anyway, mark your calendar and join us for little Reid's big FIRST!

May Family Get Together

Its a week late but here are the pictures from the get together for this month. It was a lot of fun. Don't forget that we are having the next one on June 1st at Mom and Dad's house. We are going to be doing Hobo Dinners in the fire pit so pack your own masterpiece Hobo dinner and come and Join in the fun.

This is picture proof that Justin helped clean the house for the party. He just had to make sure that the game was on to keep him focused. :)

Here is a picture of the newest married lady in the family. We were all glad that Tymber could join us for the party. Congrats again Tymber and Casey!

The guys chit-chatting about wood turning stuff.

The day was so action packed that Reid crashed and got a boo-boo between his eyes. If you look close in this picture you can see it.

Carsun and Ellie

The Gang, Grubbing. Thanks everyone for the great food!

Goof-Balls in the kitchen

These two look like they were gossiping. What were you talking about? :)

Below are some super cute pictures that I was able to capture of all of the grandkids. The last ones were a long stretch. Reid was proving to be a little difficult. We got some cute ones though.

This one was the best one.

May 4th Dinner

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to send out a little reminder and let everyone know to check the little event list on the right of the blog. Our next get-together is going to be at Crusan and Justin's house on Sunday, May 4th at 5:00pm. We have decided that because it is getting harder and harder to schedule around all of our little familie's schedules that we are just going to have a set day each month where we have dinner. We thought that the first Sunday of every month will be our day to meet for dinner. As of right now, we are planning on doing the next few at Crusan and Justin's house. If you can come, we will be excited to see everyone. If you can't make it this time, hopefully we will see you at the next month's get-together. One of us will call you to see if you can bring a side dish. We are hoping to make this a tradition, so come and join us for some family fun.

Grandma Haws' 75th Birthday

Today is Grandma Haws' 75th birthday. We had a party at Aunt Lorrie's house in West Haven. It was a ton of fun. There were a million kids there and it was great to see everyone again. Here are some pictures that I snapped.

This picture is of Ronnie getting ready to give Grandma her cake. They couldn't keep the candle lit though, the breeze kept blowing it out.

The cake was so big that Ronnie held if for Grandma so it wouldn't fall off of her legs. Notice the numbers.

Now notice the numbers. Our cousin, Sarah (Martinez) Warren, made a good point and said that we needed to give Grandma credit because she had worked hard for those numbers to be in the correct order. 75 great years.

These are pictures of all of the GREAT-Grandkids that were there. As you can see, by the number of photos, it was very hard to get all of those kids to hold still long enough to get a picture.

These are some pictures of the Epps' that were at the party. I didn't get very many. I was too busy chit-chatting. So if anyone else has some of the other party-goers please share them.
